She Is More Than is building a global network of restoration homes for survivors of trafficking — starting in Uganda, opening in Central Florida, and expanding from there. Freedom Partners make it possible.
The survivors who come through She Is More Than graduate college, start businesses, find joy, know their worth, and testify bodly for justice. That takes years. And it takes partners.
She Is More Than walks with survivors out of trafficking and all the way through to independence not for a month, not for a year, but for the full distance.
It started in Uganda with Talitha Koum, our first program and home. In 13 years there, 503 survivors have come through our doors. 112 have graduated from vocational training. 18 hold university degrees. 66 cases have led to criminal convictions against their traffickers. Hundreds of women have started businesses of their own.
This summer, we open the Central Florida Restoration Home — the first of its kind in our region, built for the intersection of trafficking survival and addiction recovery.
And we’re not stopping there.
The vision is a global network of restoration homes each one rooted in its community, each one walking with survivors the full distance. Freedom Partners make that vision possible.
