“It’s not the absence of fear, but our persistance through it that defines bravery.”

Founder
THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE ENSLAVED TODAY THAN EVER BEFORE IN HUMAN HISTORY. WE BREAK THE CYCLE.

Prevent

To stop the demand and prevent the vulnerable from becoming affected, we raise awareness surrounding human trafficking and sexual abuse in schools and communities through outreach events and mentoring programs here in the U.S. and abroad.

Restore

We provide safe housing and trauma informed care for survivors in to heal physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Through our programs, we work with each individual survivor to break cycles of abuse and restore freedom at every level. So that she will truly know… SHE IS MORE THAN a victim.

Partner

We know we can’t tackle the giant of modern day slavery alone. She Is More Than is proud to financially and physically partner with like-minded patrons and organizations across the globe. Partner with us through your giving, time and resources, or sponsorship of a young survivor to restore freedom, hope, and a future to trafficking survivors worldwide.

OUR PROGRAM

Building a future in
Uganda

In Uganda, She Is More Than is rewriting stories of survival into stories of hope. Girls like Esther, who was rescued at just 13 after surviving unimaginable exploitation, find more than just shelter within our restoration home — they find belonging. Through trauma counseling, education, and vocational training, Esther has begun to dream again. Today, she’s learning to sew, attending school, and helping mentor younger girls who arrive afraid, just like she once was. Every girl’s story matters, and every step she takes is a testament to resilience, healing, and the power of community

how YOU CAN help.

Join the movement of freedom!

At She Is More Than, we are gravely concerned for children around the world — including those in Uganda — who are caught in cycles of violence, exploitation, and unimaginable hardship. Every day, young girls are forced to flee unsafe situations, facing hunger, trauma, and the loss of their childhood.

Through our restoration home and community programs, we offer a lifeline: safe shelter, trauma counseling, education, and hope for a future beyond survival. Your support helps us continue this life-changing work, walking alongside each girl as she rebuilds her life with dignity, strength, and purpose.
